Greater Dayton Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Hosts Meet and Greet Networking Event
The Greater Dayton Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GDHCC) will host its first networking event for the year on March 16, 2005 at El Meson Restaurant in West Carrollton from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The Meet and Greet Networking event is an informal gathering for people to come and network with Latino entrepreneurs and area companies that are serving the needs of Hispanics in the Miami Valley, explained Luis Riancho, President of the Chamber.
The mission of the Hispanic Chamber is to promote the continued development and growth of the Hispanic business community in the Miami Valley region. The group seeks to offer its members the opportunity to network and develop beneficial relationships with both the public and private sectors. We are learning also about the challenges faced by companies in our region who seek to serve the needs of Hispanics, but do not know how to approach the market. It is our hope that we will also be able to serve these corporations through events like this, where they can network and learn from each other, said Mr. Riancho.
The Meet and Greet Events along with the Monthly Meetings and Special Guest Speakers Series are some of the offerings that the Hispanic Chamber has in mind to help bring together our business communities. The Chamber has also launched the Latino Community Calendar of events in its website to try to keep the community informed about events and activities in our area impacting the Latino population.
