Marco Dominguez and Carolina Pimentel co-anchor WIIH-Noticias a las 11, Indiana’s first and only all-Spanish television newscast. Dear Sir or Madam: It’s coming! The Taste of Noble County Festival will arrive May 10, 2003, on the Community Foundation grounds in Ligonier (1599 Lincolnway South). When First Lady Laura Bush cancelled a poetry reading at the White House for fear that it would become “a political forum,” the disinvited poets declared February 12 “National Poetry Against War Day” and asked everyone to write and read poems for peace. So some of the kids in the Bruderhof Community’s school took up the challenge. Here are some of their creations. Some of these powerful images are very moving—to the point of tears. WB4 LAUNCHES “HOY EN DIA INDIANA” INDIANAPOLIS - In a continuing effort to reach out to the local community, WB4 launched a Spanish language television program in Indiana, Hoy en Dia Indiana on Sunday, March 30, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. NOBLE COUNTY COALITION LANDS AFTER SCHOOL GRANT ALBION, IN—LEAP of Noble County Inc., the Literacy Empowering and Advocating Project, and a coalition of community based organizations recently received a $400,000 grant from the Indiana Department of Education to launch New DAWN, an after school and out of school learning program for elementary school students and their families in the West Noble School Corporation.
