Hoosier Lottery Welcomes New Latino Sales and Development Representative

INDIANAPOLIS The Hoosier Lottery welcomes Palermo Galindo to the Lottery staff as the new Latino Sales and Development Representative. Galindo joins the Lottery after most recently serving as an Advisor/Program Coordinator of Support Services for the Office of Multicultural Services at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.

“We are very excited to have Palermo joining our staff at the Hoosier Lottery,” said Hoosier Lottery Executive Director, Esther Schneider. “Palermo’s talent and experience are well suited for our new Latino Outreach Sales and Development position.”

As the Hoosier Lottery’s Latino Sales and Development Representative, Mr. Galindo will be responsible for recruiting Lottery retailers and assisting them through the application and licensing processes. He is also responsible for training the new retailers and providing them with day-to-day retailer services and support.

“We want Latino business owners to know that the Hoosier Lottery looks forward to strengthening relationships, enhancing their business and assisting them throughout the application process,” said Galindo.

In addition to his role in Sales and Development, Mr. Galindo will also serve as the Hoosier Lottery’s liaison to Indiana’s Latino community. Galindo is available to answer all customer service and public relations questions from Spanish-speaking Lottery customers.

“My goal is to assist with any language barriers that may have hindered effective communication between the Hoosier Lottery and our Latino customers,” said Galindo. “I want those in the Latino community to know there is someone here to answer any questions or concerns they may have.”
