Continue Colombian Independence Day Celebrated in Fort Wayne By Cris Marshall On July 18, a fiesta was held at Club NV on Parnell Avenue in Fort Wayne to celebrate the Colombian Independence Day. Arranged by local Colombian citizens, the event was festive and well-attended. Continue Elena Dupen from Columbia City attended the Elkhart County 4-H Fair, where she showed how to do ‘Needle Felting’. The Red Barn Walking Club held a non-competitive 3-mile family fun walk, that took take place Aug. 1. The walk started at 7 a.m. at the American Countryside Farmers Market, at 57919 C.R. 26, Elkhart, to benefit the Great Race for Literacy and The One Room School House organizations.
