The Indianapolis Mayor’s Commission on Latino Affairs, Butler University and Univision Indiana, Proudly presents;

“EDWARD JAMES OLMOS IN INDY” Know as the “Olivier of the Latino world”, Edward James Olmos is a individual flowing with talent and creativity. Mr. Olmos is a multi-talented actor, producer, director and recognized national latino community activist . Mr. Olmos is very well know for his participation in several television series and movies such; SELENA, MY FAMILY, 12 ANGRY MEN, among other movies.

Edward James Olmos was honored with a Golden Globe Award and nominations for an Emmy Award for his work in HBO’s The Burning Season.

In 1988 he received an Oscar nomination for his role on the movie “Stand and Deliver”, which he also produced. In addition to his Academy nominations, Olmos won an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award for his portrayal of Lt. Castillo on the popular television serie Miami Vice.
