'Los Viejitos' ( the old men), performed a folk dance from Mexico at the Kermesse held on September 7, at the St. John's Catholic Church in Goshen. The Kermesse was a Latino fundraiser for the Center of Healing of Hope.
Rollin and Violeta Welty celebrated "Grandparents Day" with Wilhelm their grandson, while attending the Kermesse. This event was a great opportunity to meet people from different countries.
Cheech Marins Personal Chicano Art Collection on Exhibit at Indiana State Museum
Presented by Target Stores and sponsored by Hewlett-Packard Company, Chicano, an unprecedented art exhibit, will open to the public at the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis, Ind., on Jan. 31, 2004. Chicano is a five-year, 15-city national tour that is collectively made up of Chicano Visions: American Painters on the Verge, a traditional art exhibit, and Chicano Now: American Expressions, an interactive multimedia exhibit for families.
