CIIE hosted the Mexican History class and other students for their Day of Dead celebration. Marcia Good, anthropologist, teaches the Mexican history course at Goshen College, coordinated the event with students from her class. The students also heard stories from Jimmer Prieto, a local community member, and from Regina Shands, Bible/Religion professor at Goshen College. All in all, it was a great opportunity to learn about the Day of the Dead and hear about several student movements across the globe. Particular attention was given to the 43 missing college students from Iguala, Mexico.
