“No Kings in America” rally this Saturday in downtown Elkhart

From 10 a.m. to 12 noon this Saturday, March 28 a peaceful “No Kings in America” protest will take place at Elkhart Civic Plaza in downtown Elkhart.

Organized by Elkhart County Indivisible (ECI), the event will feature speakers, songs, chants and signs, along with informational tables for several area organizations. A program will begin about 10:30 and run till 11 or 11:15.

Toward the end of the rally, the demonstrators will be invited to march through downtown Elkhart with signs, chants and songs.

ECI organizers encourage local individuals to join millions across the United States who don’t want our democracy demolished—and who are taking a stand for human decency, justice and peace. No Kings rallies also are scheduled for Goshen and South Bend this Saturday.
