Leading the Indiana Latino Institute into its Next 25 Years of Impact
Andrew Peñalva has been named President and CEO of the Indiana Latino Institute (ILI) following a national search conducted by the ILI Board of Directors.
A longtime member of the ILI team, Andrew previously served as Director of Workforce Development and Acting President and CEO. His deep commitment to our mission, strong community relationships, and leadership experience position him to guide ILI into its next chapter of impact.
As ILI celebrates 25 years of advancing Latino educational attainment and workforce preparedness across Indiana, Andrew will lead the organization in strengthening partnerships, expanding opportunities for students and families, and building thriving communities across the state.
“Being chosen as the new president and CEO of the Indiana Latino Institute is the honor of a lifetime,” said Peñalva. “I’m passionate about our mission and excited about the future and the work we can do with the students, families, and communities we serve.”
ILI Board Chair Sam Centellas added: “We were looking for a leader who would bring transformational vision to the Indiana Latino Institute as we enter our next 25 years. We found that in Andrew.”
We thank our donors, funders, partners, educators, students, alumni, and supporters for being part of our journey and look forward to continuing this important work together.
