Transpo to Host Hiring Event on Saturday

The South Bend Public Transportation Corporation (Transpo) is hosting a hiring event on Saturday, July 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for Driver, Mechanics, and Bus Cleaners & Fuelers. The event will take place at Transpo’s Administrative Office located at 1401 S. Lafayette Blvd in South Bend.

Transpo offers competitive pay starting pay ranges from $20.65 to $29.30 based on position and experience. Benefits include regular pay increases, paid vacation time, paid holidays, affordable, low deductible health insurance and a competitive pension plan.

Positions require a Class B Commercial drivers license and paid training is available for qualified candidates (must have a regular driver’s license).
