The MHS MemberConnections team hosts a baby shower for members at the Elkhart County Health Department, offering health resources to new and expectant mothers. Managed Health Services (MHS) partnered with Brightpoint to host a Member Baby Shower. Brightpoint helps communities, families and individuals remove the causes and conditions of poverty. The shower took place on Wednesday, September 23 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Elkhart County Health Department, located at 608 Oakland Ave. in Elkhart. It was geared toward new and expectant mothers, offering them resources and information on prenatal nutrition, breastfeeding, infant safety and infant hygiene. Members enjoyed lunch and cake and left with a gift bag full of goodies, including diapers for their little one! MHS Baby Showers give members the chance to get showered and feel special. MHS gave attendees the chance to learn a lot of great information from a variety of presenters. They could also take part in interactive games for the chance to win a baby health or safety kit.
