Editorial in English By Zulma Prieto Continue SST AT SEVENTY #6 – La Chureca By Rachel Guedea Another field trip, this time to Managua to visit La Chureca, one of the world’s largest dumps will be our morning visit. After arriving in Managua in the usual two minivans we transfer to one larger bus for the trip into the dump. We stop first in Acahualinca, a community just outside La Chureca. Many of the people living here support their families by working in the dump collecting recyclables to sell. Continue Maple City Health Care Center Completes Addition/ Renovation Project GOSHEN—Maple City Health Care Center now has new exam rooms and expanded office space thanks to the recent completion of a significant addition/renovation project. The project added a partial second floor to the 213 Middlebury Street facility, located across from Chamberlain Elementary School. DJ Construction was the general contractor.
